Seen this on Saturday, BTW:
Cathkin Park - home of Third Lanark FC
If you're ever in Glasgow for whatever reason, I really suggest you stop off there. It's like stadium lost in the winds of time. Just imagining how electric it would've been on that terracing when filled to capacity blows my mind.

Anycunt watch the Arsenal/United game yesterday? I was... words can't even describe.
That 3rd goal was shocking. Park had so much time that he could went into the stand, got himself a cup of coffee and a pie and still would've scored.
Almunia, I have no idea how Wenger can even field that useless cunt. And he wants to go in goal for ENGLAND, despite being Spanish... bloke don't even know the rules. Seriously, that clearance on aboot... was it 75 minutes? where he scuffed it. Even I would've been ashamed of a clearance like that.

Yeah I watched the match with a Gooner mate of mine, his face was on the floor from about the 35th minute on. He's been hating Almunia all season, and his pathetic flap at Nani's cross which pushed the ball into his own net was the proverbial straw that broke the camel's.
Almunia was shockingly pants and Arsenal's defense in general was shoddy. On Rooney's goal it was like they had never seen a counter attack before, and Park's wasn't much better (Rooney's blast was all but unstoppable, but Park beat Almunia short side on the ground!)
As a United fan, I'll take the three points to the bank without remorse, but United dominated that game without playing anywhere near their best football, Arsenal were just terrible.

Just wondering, as I got a DVD recorder for my TV, which means I can do like a delayed broadcast of what's on TV now. Ya know, record shit onto DVD, rip it and BC it with splitcam.
Would anyone be interested in watching Football League Highlights(3-5 "main matches" then the goals from the rest) from all three divisions on a Sunday night? It's aboot an hour and a quarter long, and I'd be looking to start at aboot 8pm GMT or so, as I gotta be in bed by 10. I did remember someone saying they wanted to watch Football League games but didn't get it where they were.

I guess I could show it after Radge TV on Friday. Not guaranteeing owt(I'll be in bed at midnight except on Friday's and Saturday's now, my schedule changed this morning(they found me a place in Berwick, so I don't need to sit on the bus for 2 hours) so I get an extra 2 hours kip) but it would be aboot 1am or so.

Most likely to do with some retarded licencing issue. The Football League Cup is run by the Football League(who also, obviously runs the Football League and Football League Trophy as well), rather than the Premiership(runs the Premiership) or the FA(runs the FA Cup, Charity Shield, FA Trophy and several other smaller competitions). If Fox has no agreement with the FL then they won't be able to show the matches.

They're actually launching a new channel tomorrow (which I won't be able to get) that is a successor to Setanta and thus has Carling Cup rights. Too bad they're a day late.

League Cup is mostly unimportant anyways. Anyone good(ya know, anyone from say Tottenham downwards) will put out their reserves until the quarters, but the FA Cup is well worth it, especially for the earlier rounds.
As I've said a million times before, there's nowt as awesome as seeing a set of amateurs go 2-0 up at Anfield. Lost 4-2, but you can't say you wouldn't wanna be the dudes who scored the first two goals. You could brag aboot that forever.
